MOLLY BRETT
Molly Brett grew up in a country district of Surrey, the daughter of Mary Gould Brett, a gifted animal painter. She had little formal training but, after a correspondence course, started illustrating and writing children's books. During her career she has also pro-duced many pictures, postcards and greeting cards. A member of the Society of Authors, Women's Institute, the local Lunch Club and Art Society, she enjoys gardening and sketch-ing. In 1974 she was featured in BBC television and radio programmes.
