Living with an Alien

By Pam Whyte

Synopsis

Pam Whyte has always instinctively understood the way dogs think and communicate. People have expressed astonishment at her pets’ exemplary behaviour, and as a result of all their comments asking why her dogs are “so good”, she felt drawn to reveal her ‘secrets’.
She studied the behavior of wild dogs in Eastern Africa for many years and now practices internationally as a pet behavior consultant and natural dog trainer by applying the natural principles that govern dog behaviour in the wild. For example – unity is strength, so when dogs and owners get into a win-win relationship in place of dominating and submitting – which are military concepts and not natural principles, she is able to achieve a phenomenally high success rate in curing all behaviour problems, by bringing dogs into harmony with their families - giving dog owners the control over their dogs that they are looking for, and dogs the security of being properly understood.
This has led her to write her book on The Language of the Pack - Living with an Alien, which provides the answers to numerous questions and the solutions to all behaviour problems which conventional approaches to dog behavior are unable to supply – simply by pointing out how dogs are not disobedient – they just don’t understand us! All behaviour problems from curing Yorkie’s of piddling on the carpet to curing aggression in Pit Bulls – and everything else in between, like digging, chewing, pulling on the lead, jumping up on visitors, knocking children over, not coming when called.... – without the use of any domination, force, bribery... because now the dogs understand their owners! It is as simple as that! At least, that is what her readers are saying! And the book reviews are equally complimentary.
For example: “The most unruly and aggressive of dogs respond to this innovative approach. Pam Whyte has addressed universities, training institutions, human/animal/ interest groups and others on dog psychology and animal perception.” Morely, Victoria, Australia.
“The book has its hilarious moments. The contents are amazing. Pam Whyte has some excellent and very serious thoughts about living with dogs - sort of "duty without cruelty". It's a super book for anyone with a dog, for, no matter how you think you get along with Fido, there's plenty more to learn to make your life (and your dog's) even better." Natal Mercury.
The London Times says: “Pam’s book makes a much needed new approach to dog owning.”
Pam has also made Natural Dog Training Home Dog Training movies.
