Fargo: The Wildcatters
By John Benteen
Synopsis
Western
DANGER IS HIS BUSINESS
The East Texas oil fields came in with a boom. Rivers of money gushed from the ground. Along with the money came the speculators, the wheelers and dealers -the killers. Fargo follows money and excitement wherever it happens to be. This time he followed it clear across Texas. Trouble is Fargo's business - other people's trouble. They know him from Alaska to Panama and the smartones get out of his way. The ones who aren't so smart get a gun barrel laid across the nose or if Fargo is short on time, they get killed. Fargo kills but he isn't a killer. He doesn't make a big thing out of it. He doesn't enjoy it. It's a job. And he's good at it.
FARGO'S ARSENAL: For close work, Fargo uses a
double-barrelled 10-gauge Fox shotgun. Sawed-off short, with shoulder sling. Both barrels fired together can knock down a half a dozen men. It's a brutal, highly-practical weapon a killing machine. Just like Fargo himself.
