Deceptively simple yet capable of the most sophisticated refinements, "the principle of the center is a basic aesthetic form and philosophical device employed by almost all traditional world cul-thres to express the powerful expe riener of unity and interrelated ness. By the very manner in which the authors have presented and illustrated the book-including numerous pieces of their own art work-the healing power of the mandala is evoked.
