Synopsis
Kent Hollis is a killing machine who literally 'loves' his victims to death. Yet Hollis is officially dead -which is why his sinister controller, Siemens, will go to any lengths to cover up evidence of his creature's murderous excesses. And Siemens is working through a mysterious list of harmless victims linked by a series of incredible events that occurred twenty years ago.
All of which is bad news for two innocents who become involved. There's Cheryl Kenney, a blonde helicopter pilot who just happens to be sent on the wrong assignment, and Stanley Fulbright, a leg-man for an obscure government agency. When this ill-matched pair get in Hollis's way, they become the new target for his murderous rage.
Pursued across country by an unstoppable force of psychotic vengeance, their progress constantly monitored by the all-powerful, all-seeing, shadowy figure of Siemens, it doesn't seem that Cheryl and Stanley have a chance. And even if they can fight their way through to the pulsating core of the mystery that threatens them, their discovery will change them both forever...
